Fees

Generally fees for service are on a flat fee basis and competitive with other attorneys practicing criminal law in this area. This means that you will be quoted and charged a single fee which you will know in advance for the services you are provided. This fee will be inclusive of all services required to complete your case, such as pretrial motions, continuances, bond hearings, discovery motions, suppression motions and hearing, jail visits if needed, witness interviews and any other required actions that must be taken before you actually go to court. In addition, it will cover your actual trial date, plea date and sentencing date if those are different from the trial date. If multiple court appearances are required there will be no addition fees for those appearances. If there are any post trial hearings or other matters directly involved in your case they will also be covered by this fee.

Fees do not include appeals to a higher court or additional charges not agreed to in the original retainer agreement.

You will receive a written retainer agreement that spells out the specific terms of the fee agreement and representation at the time that you retain the firm.

All fees are due and payable at the time that you agree to representation by the firm at the time of signing the retainer agreement unless otherwise agreed to in advance by both the client and the attorney. Larger fees may be paid in installments by written agreement contained in the retainer.
